On March 7–8, 2017, around 200 experts from Ger­ma­ny, Aus­tria, Switz­er­land and the Net­her­lands met at the Tech­ni­cal Aca­de­my in Ess­lin­gen for the 9th Indus­tri­al Flo­ors Col­lo­qui­um.
In more than 50 pre­sen­ta­ti­ons, the latest fin­dings on the plan­ning, design and use of indus­tri­al flo­ors were pre­sen­ted and lively dis­cus­sions took place. All topics rela­ting to coa­ted con­cre­te flo­ors and screeds were dis­cus­sed, the tech­ni­cal and nor­ma­ti­ve con­di­ti­ons as well as the eco­no­mic and tech­ni­cal requi­re­ments. Flo­or cove­rings, glass flo­ors or impreg­na­ted flo­ors were dis­cus­sed as well as new mate­ri­als on the cement-bond­ed and pla­s­tic-bond­ed side, spe­cial fea­tures of con­cre­te tech­no­lo­gy or new coa­ting mate­ri­als with new tech­ni­cal pos­si­bi­li­ties. Other focal points were the ana­ly­sis of dama­ge and the pos­si­bi­li­ties for pre­ven­ting and repai­ring dama­ge, as well as the topic of slip resis­tance.

One of the spea­k­ers was Mr. Beh­nisch from P&K. He spo­ke about the new Euro­pean flo­or stan­dard for logi­stics and warehousing. At the same time, we pre­sen­ted our QUIFLEX® liquid joint on a stand.
