On March 7–8, 2017, around 200 experts from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands met at the Technical Academy in Esslingen for the 9th Industrial Floors Colloquium.
In more than 50 presentations, the latest findings on the planning, design and use of industrial floors were presented and lively discussions took place. All topics relating to coated concrete floors and screeds were discussed, the technical and normative conditions as well as the economic and technical requirements. Floor coverings, glass floors or impregnated floors were discussed as well as new materials on the cement-bonded and plastic-bonded side, special features of concrete technology or new coating materials with new technical possibilities. Other focal points were the analysis of damage and the possibilities for preventing and repairing damage, as well as the topic of slip resistance.
One of the speakers was Mr. Behnisch from P&K. He spoke about the new European floor standard for logistics and warehousing. At the same time, we presented our QUIFLEX® liquid joint on a stand.
